3.3.7 Redundant Entry

중복 입력

Summary

Information already entered in the same process must not be requested again. New in WCAG 2.2, it eases the load on users for whom recall or typing is costly. Auto-populating or offering the earlier value as a choice satisfies it; re-entry that is essential, such as confirming a password, is exempt.

Common failures

  • Making users retype the same address for billing when it matches the shipping address just entered.
