Summary

Audio-only content needs a transcript; video-only content needs a transcript or audio description. The goal is to make information available through more than one sensory channel. Podcasts and silent demo videos are the typical cases.

Common failures

  • Publishing a podcast or recorded lecture with no transcript, leaving deaf users with no way in.
